Books, Books, and More Books

So recently I started collecting more books. I started this a couple of months ago, thinking I wouldn't get too many. I now have tons of them. I've been using a select few for crafts. Others are used for reading materials, displays, and some I keep because they look too fantastic. I went to a book fair a month ago that had a wonderful deal. Fill up a bag and it's only $5. Fantastic, right? I got EIGHT bags FULL of books. I double bagged so I could get more into it.

Anyways, I used some as shelving. I saw a Pinterest post and I loved it. Here is a picture of one! The bottom book is the actual shelf.

Spools

So here are my new spools that I've made. I don't want to sell them because I like them too much! But I guess I'll just make some more for myself... Also, they are made from cardstock and pieces of book pages. I think I'll give a tutorial on how I do them sometime down the line if they are liked enough.
